The Winter Solstice marks the point of the shortest amount of time between sunrise and sunset or the โshortest dayโ of the year. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is the coldest and most Yin time of year. Associated with the Water element, it is a period of time when all of nature is in a state of relative stillness and hibernation.
It's the best time of year to slow down and conserve energy. To truly turn your attention inward for self-reflection, delve into your deeper wisdom, nourish yourself and recharge your internal battery.
We live in a fairly yin-deficient culture. The concept of hibernating can be both both appealing and daunting. This mini-retreat will focus on how you can embrace 'down-time' for its sacred gifts of wisdom, resilience, willpower and becoming a container for creative inspiration.

Perhaps life has gotten busy and noisy. This mini-retreat is designed to give you permission to make space so you can reconnect with yourself and hear the voice of your intuitive guidance loud and clear. Together weโll reflect and energy test the specific messages of guidance that need to come through - for you as an individual and as a collective.
QIGONG PRACTICE
Qigong* during the Winter Solstice provides the perfect way to align with the rhythms of nature, promote health and vitality, and cultivate a deeper sense of harmony within oneself and the environment. The solstice is the best time to focus on harmonising the Water element within you, which means working with the Kidneys and Bladder and alchemising the emotions of fear and anxiety.
*Qigong exercises involve gentle movements, deep breathing techniques, and visualisation to enhance the flow of Qi and promote a sense of inner balance.
meditation practice + a touch of reiki
The Qigong practice will lead us into a blissful meditation practice, where you can completely surrender and enter into a deep state of rest. Allowing for a full reconnection with your inner nature and complete rejuvenation of your mind, body and spirit.

I so loved your mini Equinox retreat! It was the springboard I needed to centre myself, realign and balance! When I am out of balance, I feel generally unwell & things around me donโt go so well! We are all connected by the divine & loving energy of the universe & I certainly felt that connectedness with the beautiful beings there who attended your mini workshopโฆ. And of course yourself!
